Aspenpaw
and the arms of the ocean are carrying me
NAME: Aspenpaw
AGE: 12 moons
GENDER: Female
CLAN: ThunderClan
RANK: Apprentice
and all this devotion was rushing out of me
SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Orange and white tabby she-cat with alert yellow eyes
APPEARANCE:
Aspenpaw is of an average stature, her build composed of lean muscles made for hunting. Her face is rather feminine, a pink nose bordered on either side by a stripes of orange mottled with white. The rest of her muzzle and up between her eyes is a pure white, broken by another set of orange and white tabby fur that creates a mask over her eyes and delves down her scruff and over her back. The same color coats the fur of her forelegs down to the elbows, where it breaks off into pure white whereas the orange and white tabby color covers the entirety of her back legs. The white fur of her muzzle sweeps down her chest and over her belly, coating her underside with soft white fur.
and the crashes are heaven for a sinner like me
STRENGTHS:
- Driven: She is driven in everything she does, no matter what. Whether it's in relation to her quest to become a Warrior, or her quest to mope around and blame herself she is very determined to succeed.
- Intelligent: She has a striking wit that usually never leaves her, and is perfect for sarcastic remarks
- Loyal: Once you have earned her trust she will be absolutely loyal to you, no matter what.
WEAKNESSES:
- Gullible: "Aspenpaw, look over there! It's a bear!" "Really?! Where?!"
- Compunctious: She is very wary and often stresses out about consequences, and thus in turn feels horrible when something goes wrong
- Stubborn: Once she makes a decision, her mind isn't easily changed.
PERSONALITY:
Aspenpaw is a very driven she-cat, never leaving a task unfinished. Due to this she is also very stubborn which can be good or bad depending on the case; she doesn't give up on something after she's committed to it. Which in turn brings about her loyalty. Once she becomes friends with a cat, however long that may take due to her compunction, she will always remain loyal to them. Which doesn't mean that route is all rainbows and butterflies; her sarcastic remarks are definitely something that one would have to be able to handle if they were to deal with her day after day. Despite being very intelligent, she is also extremely gullible; her curiosity playing a huge role in that fault.
but the arms of the ocean delivered me
MOTHER: Blazepelt
FATHER: Unknown
SIBLINGS: None
OTHER FAMILY: N/A
MENTOR: One-eye (reassigned), Somecat
HISTORY:
Aspenpaw was born the only kit to Blazepelt, who never gifted her daughter with the identity of her father. It didn't really faze her, though, as she couldn't really miss something she'd never had. Her mother taught her everything a mother should, though she was a bit more lenient with her given her lack of a fatherly role-model and her extremely curious nature. She often took her daughter out of the camp with her (though they never ventured too far) and taught her many things about the forest. The constant adventuring with her mother produced a very curious kit, who was eager to become a Warrior who was able to walk the forest alone. But first she had to get through her apprenticeship.
When it was time for her to be trained, she was granted to DustCloud (One-eye). She immediately warmed up to the brute, casting him into the previously empty role of father. She followed every bit of his advice and was eager to please her mentor and her clan. One day when she was out hunting with her mentor her attention was grasped by a large rabbit. Her attention was so consumed by stalking the creature that she didn't even realize that there was a badger in the area. Thankfully, DustCloud did and attacked the beast, though when the fighting was done her mentor had paid the price; he lost an eye.
The young she-cat became depressed, feeling that the incident was entirely her fault. She shut herself up in the apprentice's den for several days, only coming out when she was reassigned to another mentor. She didn't feel much like training, and believed that she didn't even deserve to be a Warrior due to her carelessness. Eventually she was coaxed out of the den, finally being told that One-eye would be displeased by her lethargy. So, she set to work once more, but this time with caution. She often seeks out One-eye for his advice, and despite being reassigned, spends most of her time learning from him.
