Willowkit
The sun was coming up and setting the whole territory of WindClan on fire with that rich light that looked both bright and dark. The yellow sands turned to gold and the grass like fine strands of shadow. It was what Willowkit loved about her WindClan. Not only was it beautiful, but it was also filled with beautiful members. Of course, the most beautiful to Willowkit was her mother, Ashrose, but everyone in the Clan, Willowkit thought, had beauty in them. Whether it was plain to see on their face, or if it was hidden within their heart. Either way, Willowkit loved it. And she loved to make trouble in it.
Oh, what Willowkit would give to have a day where she could cause trouble and not actually get in trouble. My, that would be a miracle by StarClan's toes! The little silhouette in the light gave a shudder and then a small leap to get to her feet. She felt so much energy for it being this early. No one was even awake yet except for the cat who took the night patrol in camp. Somehow Willowkit had managed to sneak past her mother's watchful eye this morning. Ashrose must've been exhausted from the previous day's activities. What with Silverwing and all. She noted that Ashrose looked somewhat relieved when they had left the cat's presence and yet...she acted slightly happier afterwards too. Ah well, that was no concern for Willowkit. She had a whole camp to explore and cause trouble in!
On stubby legs she ran from the edge of the camp to the freshkill pile (or what was left of it). Since it was leafbare, there was hardly anything there. A sorry looking scrap of a gull and a mouse. That certainly wasn't enough to feed a clan. She eyed the mouse and reminded her that when the rest of the Clan woke up she would take it for her mother and the other queens. For now, Willowkit would keep her good eye on the lookout for prey from the safety of the camp. But in the meantime...
Willowkit ran from the freshkill pile back to the edge of camp again. And then from there to the warriors den, and then to the medicine cat's den then back to the edge of camp. So much running to do! So little time! Willowkit huffed and puffed with energy. She would be the fastest cat in WindClan if she had anything to say about it!
