CLAN: ThunderClan
RANK: Warrior
and all this devotion was rushing out of me
SHORT DESCRIPTION:
A white she-cat with vivd green eyes
APPEARANCE:
Like her name suggests, Snowflight is a pure white she-cat. She has no markings, no blemishes, just a silky smooth white coat, that may be a bit plain but is still elegant looking, when it isn't dirty that is. The fur of her pelt is pretty short, from a distance it is silky looking, though it is not silky to the touch. It is soft like most cats, but corse due to the environment she lives in and the ever changing seasons. The only color on her pelt or her body is her vivid green eyes; like the color of the forest in summer her eyes are large and always seem to be taking in every bit of her surroundings. Snowflight is an average sized cat, she isn't large but is definitely not small. The she-cat is thin though, not from a lack or nutrition or anything of the sort, it is simply how she is build. She has a long tail, which is one of the reasons she is suck a good climber, that allows her to balance on thin branches easily. However, the she-cat isn't very muscular, though she is a great fighter because of how agile she isn't the strongest cat and can be beaten in a fight by by pure strength.

PERSONALITY:
For many, the first word that comes to mind to describe Snowflight is determination. Even the she-cat herself will admit that she is determined to the point of being stubborn. Really once she puts her mind to something Snowflight will keep trying until she succeeds, or until her idea goes down in flames, which ever happens first. Some would just consider that 'stubborn' though her true stubbornness shows when her knowledge is questioned. Snowflight acts like a confident cat, though in truth she holds much self doubt. She tries everything to the best of her abilities, but when another cat either questions her or even simply critiques her Snowflight tends to freak. She constantly wants to prove herself to the clan, that she can accomplish things and she can be a successful warrior, that is truly all the she-cat wants to do, and she tries so hard, so when that is ripped down and mistakes are brought up she falls, hard. However, the she-cat really is hardest when she notices a mistake in herself. Though it is not normally seen by her clan mates, she corrects herself, and often does this harshly. Because she doesn't want to feel that she is the only one make mistakes she'll often correct others to feel less bad. She doesn't do this maliciously, even though more often then not it seems like she does it's just for a learning purpose and she thinks it'll help others. Plus it reminds her that she isn't the only one making mistakes. Despite this fear of failure which always hangs in some dark corner of her mind, the white she-cat really is a friendly one. She is always open to talk and to help. Snowflight his a helper, she tries her hardest to help others and give advice, even if she knows she isn't the best advice giver there is. Snowflight really just wants to be there for her friends and she wants to have friends that will be there for her. Over all Snowflight is a friendly cat with lodes of determination; though she ins't the most confident she always tries her best to help others.

HISTORY:
Snowflight actually was not born into Thunderclan, or any clan really, nor was she born to the name Snow. The white-she cat was born two a loner and kitty pet and was given the name Cilia at birth. Her mother was a loner by the name of Willow. Though she did live out in what many would consider the 'wild' Willow had no knowledge of clan cats, she had only ever herd rumors of them living out and about. Mars, Snow/Cilia's father, was a kittypet though he could leave the nest as often as he wished. He and Willow met when the she-cat had been crossing his back yard as she looked for birds and mice to hunt. The white tabby always said that their love was love at first sight, though if it's true only they will know. But soon enough Willow was expecting. Eventually Mars and Willow agreed that visiting each other would be risky. The humans kept a close eye on Mars and Willow refused to be a kittypet, and to prevent Willow from being caught her visits would have to become more frequent and shorter. Soon the she-cat had two kits, a pure white she-cat whom Mars named Cilia, and a chestnut colored tom whom Willow called Cedar. Cilia's kit-hood was neither good nor bad, over all it was as most loner kit's kit-hood should be. Cilia quickly learned how to hunt, in fact she was a 'natural' at it, or so her mother claimed, though her brother Cedar out did her every time. Though as time progressed and Cilia grew, it was clear she was more of a fighter then a hunter. Still, Cilia (or Snowflight as she is called that now) will always say that her fondest memories are of her and her brother. In truth she loved him very much, him and her mother. Cilia and her brother Cedar rarely saw her father, as her mother didn't want the kits anywhere near the two-legs and and so their farther would have to snake out to see them. Really, even as a young she-cat, Cilia resented her father. Whether it was the fact that he'd pay more attention to her brother, or the fact that he was a kitty-pet it was hard to tell, but she never cared for the tom and preferred the compony of her mother. It was clear though, that the one thing her mother feared was Cilia leaving. Willow would always try to keep stories of the clans and even of kittypets away from her kits, she wanted them to just live with her as a stray, though they had no true home and really just wandered around in a park trying to hunt and snack off of two-legs. However, in the end Willow couldn't hide the outside world from Cilia. The white she-cat had been roaming around the park one day when she ran into another cat. It was rare for other cats to be hanging around where there were so many other cats and humans, but in truth it wasn't all that surprising to see another cat. After an odd little stand-off with the other feline, that never actually turned into a fight, Cilia and this cat started talking. She never caught the cats name, really she didn't know if he even had one, but he tolled her many stories about a group or clan of cats that he had run into. And in a matter of seconds her life changed. At first, Cilia tried to push the in counter to the back of her mind, but soon it was all she could think of. Clans. Her mind wandered over the idea and soon the she-cat knew that she wanted to find these cats. She tired to tell her mother and her brother, it didn't end well. Willow, the protective she-cat that she was refused to let her daughter leave. Cedar didn't like the idea either but he said it was her decision and he wouldn't stand in her way if that was what she really wanted. That night Cilia left, she never properly said good bye to her mother, though her brother had woken up with her and bid her a fair well. She tired to get the tom to come with her but he refused, saying someone needed to stay with their mother. And so Cilia was off on her greatest adventure yet. Being just over twelve (12) moons old, she could take care of herself, so traveling wasn't that hard. It was finding the clans that was tricky. Another six moons of traveling passed. Nothing very notable happened in that time frame, she met cats who helped her; things were good, things were bad but it wasn't very interesting. But finally, after what felt like forever, she stumbled upon the clans land. She wandered around the territories, at first she rarely ran into a cat and when she did they chased her. But eventually she stumbled into the forest and ran into a Thunderclan hunting patrol. At first, the clan didn't want her, but she hung around for a bit and eventually they let her in, on account that she change her name from Cilia to something else. And so Snowflight agreed to the deal and took the name Snow. Though she was eighteen (18) moon old she became an apprentice under a kind she-cat named Mapleheart. Snowpaw found apprenticeship easy. She had learned a lot from her mother, though the clan taught her a lot more then she could ever had imagined. As an older apprentice, she made lots of friends that were both warrior and apprentices, however not all were found of the idea of a stranger. Constantly, the she-cat found she had to prove herself to her clan mates. Finally, after a rather difficult test Snowpaw earned her warrior name and became Snowflight. She had never been more proud of herself and at twenty-two (22) moons of age she officially joined the clan. So the she-cat has lived with the clan ever since, though she often feels that she needs to [prove herself to her clan she knows that she has found her family. And though she does think of Willow and Cedar, she knows that she has found her true home and couldn't be happier.

WRITING SAMPLE:
Unlike most mornings, it was not the rays of golden light peeking through the entrance of the den that woke the white she-cat up. It was in fact the other warriors who shared the den with her that caused Snowflight to stir. At first, she she-cat just rolled over onto her left side, believing that if she were given the time she could simply curl up once more and fall into the peacefulness of sleep. But that was proven to not be the case. Her mind wandered from thing to thing, first thinking about the patrols yesterday and what could have been done better, to thinking about what the up coming day may bring. Ideas of hunting parties to fighting practice filled her mind, and soon Snowflight found that she couldn't just sleep in her nest any more, it was too dull to boring. No the she-cat wanted, no she needed to do something. She wanted to feel the salty breeze on her face, and had the urged to walk and feel the sand sticking to the pads of her feet. In short, the she-cat was restless.
And so Snowflight pushed herself from her nest and out into the open light of camp. Her emerald eyes blinked a few times, as she forced herself to adjust to the brightness of day. Now that she had been fully woken, it was time to get down to business, or at least see what she could do. The white she-cat looked around the camp trying to find someone, preferably Littlefire the deputy, who could tell her what needed to be done. It seemed that the she-cat had missed most of the morning patrols, maybe she didn't wake as early as she thought she did. Snowflight let out an annoyed sigh, but there were other reasons to leave camp. Perhaps she could say she was thirsty and didn't want to risk disturbing any of the medicine cat's patients, or she could say that she was going to work on some fighting techniques, she couldn't let herself get rust.
What ever it was, Snowflight was going out of camp. Maybe it was her restless nest or the fact that she actually needed something, but she felt closed up, almost claustrophobic, the open air and the open trees would chance that. And so the she-cat headed towards the entrance of the camp, she wasn't going to let anyone question where she was going. All she had to do was be confident and the clan wouldn't bother her about it, besides they weren't strict about her leaving the camp, she wasn't an apprentice any more, she was a full blown warrior. But some little voice in the back of her mind echoed, what if they need you for something and your gone. What if- She cut if off before it could say any more. "I'm just getting some water and fresh air." she tolled herself, though fresh air was everywhere, even in the camp, sometimes she just needed and excuse to stretch her legs.
