Hello friends, family and distant cousins!This is just to go over the adoption rules!
Martial Rule: These are rules that abide to every single adoption possibility.
1. Do not do what the owner of the "adoptee"/adoptable character does not want you to do. If they don't want you to change something about them, don't change it.
2. Keep the negotiating public. This helps us (staff) all to know what/who is going to who.
3. When putting up an adoption: Put the name, gender and rank in the subject. Not name, gender and Clan. Like so: Madeuppaw-[gender]-Leader. Just something of the like. {Obviously this name, and rank is impossible. Humor me.}
4. Keep Clan Open: Unless the Clan your cat is "designated" for has a major backstory behind it and without it, it would completely change your cat's personality, leave the Clan up to what the adoptable's creator wants.
Individual Rule: All of the rules that could be fleshed out per individual adoptable-creator's choices can be summed up under this one rule.
1. Whatever the adoptable's creator requests, do it. Unless it's something ridiculous, like sacrificing your firstborn child, then don't do it. Obviously. If they don't want their cat to be some crazed freak, don't do it. Just respect their choices, please. If they don't want their history changed, don't change it. If they don't want their name changed, don't change it.
Please respect each other in this environment. I want this spot to be a place where those of us who have too much time on our hands and create cats for the fun of it, and those of us who are too lazy to create a cat or are burnt out on creativity, to join together in a good producer/consumer relationship. End economy/law lesson.
